Cortina in Wellness Winter Edition

Great enthusiasm for the winter edition of Cortina in Wellness, which on February 22 and 23 transformed the Queen of the Dolomites into a true Wellness Destination. As Wellness Foundation, founded by Nerio Alessandri, we are proud to have organized this event under the patronage of the Municipality of Cortina d’Ampezzo, the Province of Belluno, the Veneto Region, and Fondazione Cortina, in collaboration with various local organizations and with the patronage of Fondazione Milano Cortina.

The Grand Hotel Savoia hosted the Cortina in Wellness Soirée, an opening night where we shared our vision with key local stakeholders: promoting healthy lifestyles and making Cortina a wellness model, even in a post-Olympic perspective. During the event, we presented the projects developed between the first edition in September 2024 and this Winter Edition:

• Cortina in Wellness for Schools, involving the Omnicomprehensive Institute of Ampezzo and Cadore to promote wellness education;


• Wellness Pills, a radio segment on Radio Cortina;


• Collaboration with the University for Adults/Seniors of Belluno.

The 30 scheduled events, almost all sold out, welcomed over 500 participants, confirming a strong interest in 360-degree wellness. Among the most appreciated activities: yoga, aquagym, and total body workout at top facilities such as Rosapetra Spa Resort and Faloria Mountain Spa Resort, partner Tabata workouts at Fitness Club Cortina, and relaxation moments at Hotel De Len. The “Mountain Experience” offered unique emotions: from the suggestive sunset snowshoeing at Passo Giau with Alpine Guides to rejuvenating snow walks and the engaging Fox Walk.

For the little ones, there was plenty of fun in Piazza Roma with Corty, the Fondazione Cortina mascot, and Technogym master trainers for an unforgettable pre-ski warm-up. Also highly appreciated were the climbing lessons at the Lino Lacedelli Rock Gym and the thematic talks in hotels around the area.

The success of the Cortina in Wellness Winter Edition confirms that Cortina can truly become a Wellness Destination! The date is already set for the end of August, with the Summer Edition 2025.
